Boom Cylinder is the primary hydraulic cylinder responsible for lifting and lowering the excavator’s boom, the main structural arm
that determines the machine’s digging depth and lifting capacity. Operating within a working pressure range of 16–25MPa, this
high-pressure cylinder is constructed with a robust 27SiMn or Q345B steel barrel, known for its exceptional strength, toughness, and resistance to bursting under heavy loads. The piston rod is made of 40Cr or 42CrMo steel, quenched, tempered, and chrome-plated to ensure superior wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and long service life. As the core component of the boom system, this cylinder bears the full weight of the boom, arm, bucket, and any suspended load, making its reliability critical to the excavator’s overall performance and safety. It features a precision-machined multi-stage sealing system to eliminate internal leakage and maintain pressure holding safety, even during long-duration load hovering. The advanced buffer mechanism reduces impact forces at the end of strokes, protecting the boom structure and extending the cylinder’s service life. It is designed for use in all excavator tonnages, from micro to large, and is engineered to deliver smooth, powerful boom movement in a wide range of working conditions, from light landscaping to heavy mining.
